Cookie Settings
FoodBites keeps cookies to a minimum. We use only what’s needed to run the site and to understand general usage — never to build advertising profiles or sell your data.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — like a preference you set — and help measure how the site is used. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work the same way.
How we use them
- Essential — needed for the site to work: remembering your chosen location/preferences and keeping you signed in (for merchants and admins). The site can’t function properly without these.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting, largely anonymous measurement of general usage (pages visited, broad device info) so we can keep FoodBites reliable and improve it.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.
Managing your cookies
You’re in control. Every major browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies in its settings — usually under “Privacy” or “Site data.” Here are the official guides:
Blocking cookies is fine, but note that disabling essential cookies may break parts of the site (for example, keeping your location or staying signed in).
